Handcrafted from pine wood and finished using the traditional Shou Sugi Ban wood-charring technique, each candle stand is sealed for protection with Food-safe mineral oil
Care:
Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Do not soak, submerge, or place in a dishwasher. Reapply mineral oil as needed.
Recommended Mineral Oil Maintenance:
- Normal decorative use:
Apply every 2–3 months to keep the wood hydrated and maintain its rich appearance. - Dry environments or outdoor patio use:
Apply every 1–2 months, as sun and air can dry the wood faster. - If the wood looks dry or dull:
Apply a light coat immediately to restore the finish.
How to Apply Mineral Oil
- Clean the stand with a slightly damp cloth and allow it to dry completely.
- Apply a thin coat of food-safe mineral oil using a soft cloth.
- Let the oil soak in for 15–20 minutes.
- Wipe off any excess oil with a clean cloth.
Regular oiling helps prevent drying, enhances the wood grain, and keeps the Shou Sugi Ban finish looking rich and vibrant.
